AUDITION Information
Thank you for your interest in the Classy Cat Dance Team.
Kansas State is excited to be part of the Common College Dance Team Recruitment Video and Timeline. Inspired by the Common Application for College Admission, the Common Dance Team Recruiting Video provides a standardized starting point for all applicants.
Although we have an audition base process, we will be using the Common Recruitment Video for invitations to in person auditions in April 2026.
CLASSY CAT TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES:
(Optional but HIGHLY recommended)

Fall Clinic - September 7th, 2025

Classy Cat Experience and Fall Intensive - October 31st - November 2nd, 2025

College Prep Clinics - January, February, and / or March 2026

New and different material will be taught at every event.
Video bypass and In-person audition invitations may be given at each event.
AUDITION MATERIAL DUE DATES:

September 1st, 2025 - Early Submission

January 1st, 2026 - Standard Submission

March 1st, 2026 - Final Submission
INVITATIONS TO IN-PERSON AUDITIONS WILL BE EXTENDED
ON A ROLLING BASIS.
All candidates will be notified by March 15th, 2026.
A smaller amount of invitations will happen after early submission. Majority of invitations will happen after the standard / final submission.
